How to get a passport easily

Bangladesh , as a first South Asian country stepped on the era of E-passport on 22nd January which was launched by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Since then, E-passport has become an alma matter in the country.

Though Coronavirus outbreak has impacted it's service for a time being but after a period of five months, it got resumed again by the Department of Immigration & Passports(DIP).

Now anybody can get enrolled to avail an E-passport.

Recently, I got my E-passport done.
From my experience I have penned down the overall procedure with some tips so that you all too can do it entirely by yourself.

• Firstly,Log on to this website & fill up the form(Even fill up those portions given as optional)

    https://www.epassport.gov.bd/onboarding

• Then, put the DOB manually as it sometimes doesn't get updated even if you are clicking on it.

• Before final submission, cross-check all of the informations again & again because once you submit it, you will not be able to edit it by yourself without the help of the RPO officers.

• Payment can be done -

      ONLINE ( Sonali bank e-sheba)

Or, OFFLINE from any of the following banks -
(ONE Bank, Premier Bank, Sonali Bank,
Trust Bank, Bank Asia, Dhaka Bank)

You don't need to have an account in the respective bank to get a pay slip for your passport.
